REV2022 Request for Speaking Proposals
About Renewable Energy Vermont's Conference & Expo:
You are invited to submit a speaking proposal for REV2022 | Our Clean Energy Future in a Changing World: Resilient, Inclusive, Secure. The 2022 Renewable Energy Conference and Expo will convene business, government, community, and academic leaders implementing clean energy and climate solutions. The two day event highlight’s New England's leadership role in achieving an equitable, integrated, total renewable energy infrastructure addressing electricity, heating, and transportation needs. Bringing together over 450 attendees and exhibitors, the REV conference is the largest comprehensive renewable energy event in New England.

Submissions Due: Monday, May 2nd, 11:59 pm EST.

Preliminary panel themes for REV2022 are below. Some priority may go to proposals that address some of these themes but please do not limit your submissions if you do not see your topic below.
-  Innovations in renewable energy generation and/or storage technology
- JEDI and renewable energy
- Advances in Advanced Wood Heat
- Transportation electrification and/or equity
- Rural resilience
- Federal and/or state energy policy
- Transmission solutions
- Local energy security/independence
- Bringing wind back to Vermont
- Microgrids & islanded circuits
- Model projects/programs/initiatives in other states
- Role of non-wired alternatives to meeting our energy transition
- Regulatory reform

Conference Audience:
Land use and transportation planners, engineers, architects, builders, developers, utilities, data management businesses, installers, manufacturers, system operators, non-profits, government officials, town energy committee members, lawyers, investors, researchers, students, and climate and environmental advocates.

How to Submit:
Fill out the form below. Your speaking proposal does not need to be a formal abstract. Please submit 1-3 paragraphs detailing what you would like to speak about, its relevance to New England and Vermont's renewable energy community, and why you are qualified to speak on this topic.

Acceptances & Rejection Notices:
Acceptances and rejections will be sent out by late June. If you have additional questions, please send your inquiries to REV's Operations Manager, Kit Price (kit@revermont.org). Proposals will be reviewed by the Conference Committee and we may reach back out for further information while reviewing your proposal.

Please Note:
1) Speakers pay reduced admission fees. Rates TBD. Please contact Kit Price at kit@revermont.org with any questions.
2) No marketing materials, please. Consultants and manufacturers may submit presentations of a non-commercial nature, but all obvious commercial sales pitches will not be accepted for a presentation.
